It’s hot out and it’s time for frosty treats to snack on to try to stay cool in the summer heat. Summer is synonymous with ice cream, but what do you do if you don’t do dairy? Fortunately, there are a lot of options for those who can’t or would prefer not to have dairy in their cold summer snacks. These are some of our favourites:

Why they’re awesome: We love these ethically-sourced, all-organic, and minimally-processed freezies. They are fruit based primarily but some contain coconut cream.

Why they’re awesome: These popsicles are free from refined sugars, gluten, dairy and genetically modified ingredients. They’re also certified organic, vegan and kosher, too. Their bases are tea and super fruits.

Screamin Brothers
Why they’re awesome: We scream for these big flavours of non-dairy ice cream in big & little tubs as well as bars. They are fair trade, organic, kosher, gluten free and free of the ten most common food allergens. They have a coconut milk base.
