Culture Days is a three-week, coast-to-coast celebration of colour, creativity, and connection. Every year, millions of people take part in thousands of free events that open doors to the arts and culture all around us. Learning the art of tea blending, joining a writing workshop, experiencing flamenco, exploring Indigenous festivals, or stepping into an interactive installation, Culture Days invites everyone to get curious, get creative, and discover how the arts bring us together.

Culture Days is committed to holding space for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation; a time for reflection, remembrance, and learning, through arts and cultural experiences. Explore free and Pay-What-You-May activities in your community and be part of this vibrant, collective journey.

Terry Fox Run

When: September 14, 2025
 Where: Multiple Venues

In 1980, Terry Fox set out on his Marathon of Hope with a simple but powerful goal: to raise awareness about the urgent need to find a cure for cancer. With remarkable determination, he ran an average of 42 kilometres a day for 143 days, inspiring Canadians across the country before his run came to an end on September 1, 1980, when his cancer had spread. His legacy lives on as a symbol of courage, perseverance, and hope.


This September 14 marks the 45th annual Terry Fox Run, a cherished Canadian tradition that unites nearly 600 communities—big and small, urban and rural, English and French—in support of cancer research. The Run is more than a fundraiser; it’s a moment for communities to come together, honour Terry’s vision, and continue the marathon he started. Join us and be part of the movement to help end cancer.
