Pork tenderloins are a lean budget-friendly dinner option that your whole family can enjoy. Unfortunately, they can oftern be bland, so finding the right pork tenderloin recipe to liven things up is key!

We pulled together this Asian-inspired recipe, and honestly, the combination of soy, ginger, honey, and garlic is a sweet and sour match made in heaven! The Instant Pot cooked the roast to juicy, melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and it was all as easy as can be. It can be a simple dinner to have when you’re in a hurry, or a fancy dinner to impress company. It’s so flexible! We tried this recipe on a whim, and it instantly became a weekly staple. And the leftovers are just as good! …. if there are any…. 😉

Enjoy!

Honey Soy Pork Tenderloin {Instant Pot}

  1. Mix the soy sauce, water, honey, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in the instant pot. Then add in the pork tenderloins.
  2. Place the lid on the instant pot, and turn to lock in place. Ensure the pressure valve is turned to the ‘sealing’ setting.
  3. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Use the ‘High’ and ‘More’ settings if your model has them. Turn off the ‘Keep Warm’ function. Release the pressure, which will take approx 5-10 minutes.
  4. Remove only the pork tenderloins, leaving all the liquid in the instant pot. Press the ‘Saute’ button.
  5. Mix the cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water, whisking thoroughly.
  6. Slowly pour into the instant pot, while stirring briskly. Continue to stir and saute until the liquid thickens.
  7. Pour the sauce over pork loin and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds (optional). Serve over rice.
