Sea to Sky Gondola

The Sea to Sky Gondola is conveniently located along the world-famous Sea to Sky Highway/Hwy 99, two kilometres south of Squamish. A short 10-minute scenic ride from the base to the summit 885m above sea level provides sweeping views of Howe Sound, the majestic coastal forest, and surrounding mountains. Once at the summit you can explore a wide array of outdoor experiences, including two different interpretive loop walking trails with cantilevered viewing platforms, the spectacular Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, numerous hiking trails, cross the thrilling Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, take in the views from a breathtaking viewing platform, and then head back to the cozy lodge for a warming cup of hot chocolate!

SHIPYARD SKATE PLAZA
North vancouver 

The Shipyard Commons outdoor skate plaza is the region's largest outdoor skating rink. The rink is located on the waterfront at The Shipyards, and is set against the beautiful backdrop of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains. During seasonal operations, the skate plaza offers daily skating, as well as free helmets and skate aides. Those with their own skates skate for free. The Skate Plaza is open daily, 1:00-8:00pm, until the end of February. Skate rentals (limited quantities) are available at a cost of $7 for adults, $5 for kids. Get the latest updates on Facebook .
